On display, Julius Bush, a self-taught artist, born and raised in Seattle, WA. He started to explore his passion for drawing in 2017. Using abstract forms, he created works with graphite to build technical skills which steadily progressed towards representational subjects, while digital paintings enabled an environment that enhanced his understanding of color. He now works with acrylic paints on canvas. His practice explores a personal sense of culture and identity created from an accumulation of experiences and stories, in a style embedded with essence of cartoons, surrealism, and storytelling.
